Dermalogica Clear Start Kit
Dermalogica has a “Clear Start” kit that DOES what it says, allowing for you to get a “clear start” with your skin. Since I moved to California, I have been having issues with breakouts because of the lack of humidity. I stated using this kit and immediately noticed a difference. The whole kit is directed towards correcting and preventing acne. There are five products included in this kit and I’m going to walk you through each one.
My Morning Routine With the Dermalogica Clear Start Kit
First, I start my routine with the Blackhead Clearing Fizz Mask. This mask is not only effective but entertaining. After your initial application, it starts to foam. You can feel the foam form on your skin and you can also see little dots on each pore, so you know it’s really working. The mask’s main goal is to clear pores and blackheads. This unique mask’s active fizzing formula effectively clears pores and helps target blackheads. It open pores, decongests skin and facilitates blackhead clearing. Sulfur helps keep skin clear. Kaolin Clay absorbs excess oil and purifies the skin.
Then I move onto the breakout clearing foaming wash. I use this to wash off the mask and wash my skin. It deep cleans and purifies skin use daily. This breakout-fighting, foaming wash clears away dead skin cells, dirt and excess oils that clog pores and cause breakouts. Use on your face, back, neck…wherever skin requires deep cleaning and pore clearing for fewer breakouts.
Next, I use the Micro-Port mist. It minimizes visible pores, reduces excess oil, and helps diminish the appearance of post-breakout marks. It’s formulated with niacinamide and an antioxidant-rich blend. You spritz your face and then your pores get smaller by the time you walk out the door. It’s gentle enough to be used throughout the day for a pick-me-up whenever you need it. This bottle is made from 50% recycled plastic, so your conscience can feel as clear as your skin does.
Over that and under my moisturizer, I apply the breakout clearing booster. It’s main goal is to clear breakouts fast! This fast-acting booster, formulated with Salicylic Acid, helps combat breakout-causing bacteria for rapid skin clearing.
Finally, I put on the clearing defense SPF30, mattifying moisturizer. It is a shine-reducing SPF moisturizer that helps protect breakout-prone skin from environmental stress. This ultra-lightweight formula provides a long-lasting matte finish without clogging pores. Antioxidant Willow Bark Extract, Green Tea Extract and Vitamin C combat the irritating effects of pollution on breakout-prone skin. Broad Spectrum sunscreen defends against UV rays, which may lead to the appearance of uneven skin tone.
It seems like a lot of steps but I look forward to applying everything because it is so fun and it’s really affective. I’ve really seen a difference and I always love using Dermalogica because it has saved my skin so many times in the past. they have saved my skin so many times in the past.
