I’ve been wanting to try eyelash extensions for probably three years now but I’ve been wayyy too scared to actually book an appointment. Well as luck has it, Lashes Look Studio reached out to me JUST at the right time. I was still a little nervous because I’ve heard a few horror stories about eyelash extensions in the past. I got natural looking lashes that were only one size longer than my actual eyelashes but they’re still seriously obvious in the best way possible. I’ve had the lashes for about two weeks and they have held up amazingly. Lashes Look Studio uses a different kind of lashes allowing them to stay and look amazing for up to one or two months.
It’s the best feeling in the morning waking up and not having to do a single thing to your face. Mascara was always my biggest struggle in the morning. I naturally have pretty long length lashes but still getting them to look exactly how I wanted them. took me HOURS. Okay… that may be a BIT of an exaggeration but still it was not my favorite part of the morning. Now I wake up, walk out of bed, and that’s literally it.
Some tips I have to keep your lashes looking great for a long period of time is to brush your lashes with a spooly brush in the morning, at night, and pretty much whenever you can. I also add Aquaphor to the brush every once in a while to get them positioned the way I like and keep them healthy. I also never get water on them. You are allowed to 24 hours after getting them done, I just try my best to keep them away from water as much as possible.
The people at Lashes Look Studio were seriously the sweetest people ever. They listened carefully to what I wanted and took time to really perfect the lashes. Usually eyelash extensions take anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half, mine were completed in around 45 minutes. I was super comfortable and they often asked me how I was doing. They offer more than just extensions as well. Lashes Look Studio focuses on semi-permanent and permanent makeup. Walk out feeling like a million bucks without spending a million bucks!!
